Budget Committee
Budget Committee Shall:
Prepare and submit a proposed annual budget, with input from Committee Chairs and staff to the Executive Committee for approval at the Summer Conference.
1. Consist of an appointed Chair for a term of two (2) years (may be re- appointed for a 2nd term,) the Immediate Past President and seven (7) region representatives. These representatives will be elected at region meetings for a one (1) year term. May be appointed for a maximum of three (3) terms.
2. Present copies of said budget to the Board of Directors for their information, recommendation, and final approval at Summer Conference.
3. At Annual Convention, review, and possibly amend, the budget and present to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and general membership for final approval, if changed.
4. The Budget Committee Chair Shall be notified of all expenditures that are over $500 more than the budget line or if the expenditure is not a line item.
5. Assist committee chairs as needed in preparing committee budget requests.
6. Maintain committee meeting minutes and record of programs and materials developed. Records are to be passed from chair to chair at time of change and cc’d to the ANCW Executive director.
