Legislative Committee
Welcome to the ANCW Legislation Committee page!
The ANCW Legislation Committee works on behalf of ANCW members all across the country. We stay up to date on legislation happening on both the national and state levels. With a push of the “send” button, we can have the latest legislative issue sent out to thousands of women all over the country in seconds. ANCW members start dialing phones, sending e-mails and even mailing letters to politicians to help preserve and advance cattle production in the United States.
Annual Legislative Visits
The American National CattleWomen have hosted Annual Legislative Visits IN Washington DC with incredible success. Click here for this year's event information - 2026 ANCW Legislative Days
Schedule Visits to the Hill from Your State!
Many state ANCW members and NCBA members come together on the state level to meet with their local Senators and Congressmen. Some states have agriculture days throughout the year to educate their elected officials by serving breakfast or lunch and taking members on Hill visits.
Contact your state Cattlewomen or Cattlemen’s associations to find out more about legislative efforts in your state!
